Who we are
This is the website for Charlie Russell Nature Photography, where we post our original content that can include photographs, articles about where to hike to see wildflowers, and discuss topics relating to nature and photography. Our website address is: https://wildflowers.russellramblings.com/.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
One of the items we collect with comments is your email address. This is only used to notify you of additional comments (and replies) that are added to the discussion, which only occurs if you check the “Notify me when new comments are added” box after your comment.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. If you have chosen to use the Gravatar service, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. This is not required, it is your choice to opt in to that service.
Contact forms
We have a contact form that you can use if you wish to send us a query, or if you wish to purchase one of our photographs. We collect only the information shown in that form. This information may be retained for an indefinite period of time, but it is only used in relation to the query that you send to us.
